About The Paleo Way
The Paleo Way is a lifestyle brand that is dedicated to educating and helping transition people in the paleo way of life.  Founded by chef Pete Evans the site provides a wealth of resources, videos, and fun recipes to help you along every step of the way.

The premise is simple; help people understand what living paleo means and how to do it in the modern world.  They will teach you how to enjoy whole unprocessed foods, leafy greens, fresh pesticide-free vegetables, nuts, occasional fruits, grass-fed meat, pastured free-range poultry and wild-caught fish.

This is combined with a focus on exercise and mindfulness to help you achieve a balanced, healthy, and positive life.

The 10 Week Activation Program - this is the centerpiece of their company and is the total package when it comes to paleo resources and instruction.  It combines the work of their team which includes: a personal trainer, nutritionist, naturopath, soul coach, and the chef/founder.

Together these experts have created a program that includes:
  • Recipes

  • Guided Meditation
  • Motivational support
All of this is structured in a an easy to follow 10 week program in which you will learn about why the Paleo diet works, how to do it, and how to stay successful and happy into the future.

Their program is also compatible with those following an autoimmune protocol, GAPS diet or, FODMAP.

The Paleo Way has also created a great web/tv series with helpful and informative episodes.

Cost:

The Paleo Way 10 week program costs $149 AUD and you have the option of starting immediately or to set a future start date.

Customer Service:

If you have any questions or concerns about the program you can check their helpful FAQ page or contact them by email at support@thepaleoway.com.

Online Reviews/Complaints:

In terms of the program itself Pete Evans delivers what he promises and there are great resources in his 10 week program.  As far as the Paleo diet itself is concerned there are always mixed reviews.

Many people experience extremely positive results by cutting out processed foods and grains from their diets.  This leads to weight loss in almost every case, however some people don’t function well with low-carb diets and there certainly is an adjustment period that not everyone tolerates well.

If you are overweight or have food related health issues there certainly is no harm in trying out a healthier lifestyle.

Competitor and Alternatives:

There are many chefs, nutritionists, and other health professional who deliver resources with their own personal take on the Paleo Diet.  You can find a lot of information online, both paid and free.

Some other popular options include the Primal Blueprint, Chris Kresser, and Real Plans.

Where to Buy?

Before committing to the Paleo Way you can check out some of Pete’s free youtube videos to get an idea of what’s in store.  Otherwise, you can sign up directly from their website.

Dissapointing

So i had a few problems and questions along the way i do not have facebook so i emailed the team numerous times with absolutely no reply messaged pete directly on Instagram and he simply emailed me there email address no apology no help nothing!!

Kept getting logged out of the site when cooking and trying to follow recipes. Recipes are often for 6 people. Shopping lists are insane way too much food and super expensive!!!

Didn't loose much weight. And a disaster of a shopping list if you want to print pdf style. Website needs some serious love. I wasted my money.

You make michelle bridges look really good!!

Sad that they haven’t even commented here. Was not sure about trying and this just made up my mind for me.

Time Consuming

It's a great program (if you have the time). There is a lot of meal preparation which is hard when you work long hours and don't get home until late. Then you have to listen to all the meditation / relaxation videos and do the exercises. The meals are great but there is a lot of ingredients and a large shop list. You need time to undertake the shop, preparation, exercises and meditation. I simply couldn't allocate the time and you only have the 10 weeks as the program (that you've paid for) is disabled so you can no longer access. You need to download and print off everything if you wish to get back to it. Cheaper to buy Pete's book (which also has a program in it) and do the exercises and mediation online.
