The New Primal provides gluten-free, antibiotic-free, 100% grass-fed beef jerky and turkey jerky. The creation of the products began with a personal journey of founder Jason Burke who wanted to improve his health and nutrition standards. Products and Ingredients:
The beef jerky comes in three flavors: Original, Spicy, and Pineapple Trail Pack. The turkey jerky has one option, the Original product. The grass-fed beef comes from New Zealand where the cattle are raised humanely on family farms where they are free to roam and are never injected with growth hormones and antibiotics. The use of GMOs in agriculture is also illegal in New Zealand.
Almost all of the ingredients are the same in the three beef jerky flavors with slight variations. The Pineapple Trail Pack contains grass-fed and grass-finished beef, gluten-free tamari (water, soybeans, salt), and honey. The product also contains 2% or less pineapple juice, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, ginger, liquid smoke, raw almonds, soy, nuts and natural dried pineapple.
The turkey jerky products are sourced from a family-owned farm in California where they are raised humanely with four times more roaming area than the average commercial turkey farm and never fed GMOs or antibiotics. The New Primal Products are certified by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization. The organization has a strict review process, ongoing testing of finished products and undergo an annual inspection. They have a higher standard of labeling products gluten-free than organizations in the Europe, USA and Canada.
