About The Fresh 20
The Fresh 20 is a meal-planning service created for busy families and singles who want to eat healthy meals, save time and save money.

Founder Melissa Lanz established the company in 2009 in response to unhealthy eating habits across America. Her goal is to bring fresh food back to the house and reduce the amount of processed ingredients used.

How it works:

All of the meals are made using 20 fresh, seasonal ingredients per week. When you subscribe, you will do the following steps:

Step 1: Shop

You buy 20 fresh, local and organic ingredients and most customers say it takes less than 20 minutes to finish shopping. None of the ingredients are processed or frozen.

The meals accommodate for vegetarian, Paleo, gluten-free, dairy-free and kosher diets.

Step 2: Prepare

You are provided with a guide on how to prepare the week's meals, which takes one hour at the beginning of the week.

Step 3: Cook

Each meal is simple to prepare.

The website also provides 20 items to keep in your pantry for the menus and also information on how to make a variety of dressings.

Some customers said some meals cost a bit more than expected and one blogger said sometimes the preparation time can be misleading and take longer than what the company claims. The same person said it may take a bit more effort, but the food is more delicious.
