Rally All is a new video platform for exercise videos that combines the power of social media/video with fitness.  Their system allows trainers to lead classes via live broadcast while members can choose from a wide variety of classes and schedules that they want to attend.

 

They believe that having a live model v.s pre-recorded DVDs gives users an extra boost of motivation to finish the workout while still being in the comfort of your home.  This is great for those that don’t have time to go to the gym or find those environments intimidating.

Once you create your account you can begin shopping around for classes that you find interesting.  They have video workouts for:

Once your class has begun you will be able to see the instructor but they won’t be able to see you.  You can ask them live questions about the movements you’re doing for extra guidance.

 

One of the best features of Rally All is that you can workout alongside your friends.  You can connect with a friend or group via Skype or Google Hangouts and see each other throughout the class.

If you are a fitness trainer for any practice and want to lead a class Rally All is a great low cost option.  You can run classes from your home gym without having to invest in your own location.  You can great a regularly scheduled class or simply do it as a one time option.

 

After you create an account you will be prompted on the best way to setup and run your class.  Your first class has to be done live, but it will remain recorded on their website as a cataloged option.

 

This is a great way to spread your brand and get more people on board your fitness business.

A basic Rally All membership costs $14.95/mo and gives you 30 hrs of classes per month.  As a trainer you incur no costs for running a class, instead you share a portion of users monthly fees, with Rally All, based on how many hours of your fitness class were attended.

At this time the service is just launching so there is not much customer feedback available.  However it is clear that outside of technical issues the value of the classes will be based on the trainers running them.

 

So if you want to do some due diligence you can research the individual trainer before signing up for their class.  For instance one of their classes is led by Todd Kuslikis who’s a known Isometrics trainer.  A quick google search will give you an idea about the type of products he’s known for and what you can expect.

There are a few platforms that have cataloged and curated vast online fitness libraries, however not many have a live option.  Some of these include: MovNat, Cody App, Gaiam TV, and Grokker.com.
