About Pure Indian Foods
Pure Indian Foods is a family run business specializing in creating the finest Ghee and traditional Indian spices and oils.  Ghee is a staple in Indian cooking and provides many benefits that have been lauded by the Paleo community.

Ghee is made by clarifying butter which removes almost all traces of lactose and casein.  This method produces a saturated fat that is great for cooking and as a butter condiment replacement.

Ghee, specifically grass-fed, has many health benefits and is full of vitamins A, D, E and K2.  High quality and pure Ghee also has a much longer shelf life than butter and a much higher smoke point, withstanding cooking temperatures of 485 degrees fahrenheit.

Products, Ingredients, and Side Effects:

Pure Indian Foods uses non-homogenized milk produced from grass-fed cows.  Their Ghee is certified organic by New Jersey Department of Agriculture.  Their facility also adheres to the current good manufacturing practices guidelines.

The Ghee that they produce is vegetarian and may contain trace amounts of lactose, in the majority of cases people with dairy intolerances should have no problems cooking with or consuming Ghee.

If you do have dairy sensitivities you might want to sample a small amount first to make sure that your body can handle it.  Pure Indian Foods also offers a wide variety of spices, oils, grains, teas, Ayurvedic and BioDynamic foods.
