About Paleo Treats
Paleo Treats, as the name implies, is a company specializing in creating delicious Paleo approved desserts and snacks.  They are a San Diego based business that has been operating since 2009.

Started as a small operation they have now grown to full size commercial bakery with a focus on quality locally sourced ingredients.  They are not just making Paleo food they want to make paleo treats that are better than their conventional counterparts.

Products and Ingredients:

Some of the highest rated products from them include..

Mustang Bar - Described as a cross between granola and sweet snack bar it is made from: almond butter, coconut oil, walnuts, honey, almonds, raisins, pumpkin seeds, almond flour, coconut, vanilla, salt.

Cacao Now! - Perfect for the chocolate lover, the bar features a limited number of ingredients including: Honey, cacao butter, almonds, raisins, cacao powder, pistachios, and goji berries.

Brownie Bomb - A substitute for the traditional brownie this treat is lactose and gluten free made from only honey, pecans, eggs, coconut oil, cacao powder, and almond flour.

As the ingredients show Paleo Treats sticks to using only paleo approved foods to make their treats, focusing on creating items that are delicious and nutritious.

They use no stabilizers, preservatives, or synthetic ingredients.  For this reason it is important to store them correctly.  They will last 10 days at room temperature, 60 days in the fridge, and 6+ months in the freezer.

They recommend freezing them as soon as your shipment arrives as customers claim they taste best only a min out of the freezer.  Also remember to factor in shipping time into the shelf life.

Customer Service:

Paleo Treats has a 100% satisfaction guarantee and if you’re not happy with your purchase you can contact them for a refund or replacement product.  For any questions you can reach them at 619-403-5424 or through their website.

Online Reviews/Complaints:

The company has fantastic reviews with people really loving all their products.  The standout being the Brownie Bomb.  They also have a great following on social media with over 35 thousand facebook likes.

The only mentioned downsides to PaleoTreats was the higher price of the cookies but, as always, you get what you pay for and most almond flour based treats will cost significantly more than traditional options due to the higher cost of the ingredients.

Competitors and Alternatives:

You always have the option of making your own paleo treats, there are many recipes online and most options don’t use too many ingredients and don’t require special baking skills.  For those pressed for time other premade paleo snack options include: Caveman Cookies, Steve’s PaleoGoods, Bitty Foods, and Chapul Bars.

Where to Buy?

You can order directly from their website or if you don’t want to wait for shipping check out their site for a retail location near you.  They are sold through many crossfit gyms and health food stores across the US.
