About Osteobroth
Osteobroth is the latest company to get in on the bone broth boom with their dehydrated bone broth powder.  With the success of pre-made high quality broths and even brick and mortar shops selling broth by the cup it is clear that this movement is only growing.

Part of the reason for the recent popularity is due to many Paleo gurus like Dr. Axe and Dr. Mercola praising bone broth for its nutritional benefits.  It has also been used in traditional medicine for years to improve the immune system and help people recover from various ailments.

Given the fact that some advocates claim broth should be made from high quality animal parts and cooked from 12-24hrs, it’s clear why pre-made and dehydrated products are on the rise.

Product and Ingredients:

Osteobroth Premium Bone Broth contains no artificial colors, sweeteners, preservatives, or flavors.  The company also claims to use a proprietary high pressure cooking method to extract and capture more nutrients than traditional methods.

Afterwards the mixture is dehydrated leaving a powder that has 12 grams of protein for a 13 gram serving and only 50 calories.

Osteobroth is:
  • Shelf stable for 2 years
  • Made from only USDA inspected fresh chicken with no added hormones and has no antibiotics.
  • Convenient powdered form
  • Enriched collagen and chondroitin
  • No peanut, tree nut, fish, shellfish, wheat, gluten or yeast
  • Paleo
  • Light tasting
While studies have shown that chicken soup can reduce inflammation and improve digestion some nutritionists are claiming that bone broth has been overhyped.  No matter where you stand on the issue it is still a healthy way to consume protein and restorative food.

Cost:

20 servings per bottle- for $49.99.

Customer Service:

If you have any questions or issues with the product you can reach someone at info@osteobroth.com.

Online Reviews/Complaints:

For the most part online reviews of OsteoBroth are very positive with people enjoying the mild flavor of the broth.  As with all matters of taste some people found it to be too mild for their liking and closer to the consistency of a bouillon than a thick bone broth.  However given that the product is in powdered form you can always mix in your own additions to get to the flavor profile you desire.

Competitors and Alternatives:

In addition to your local store brand options there are more and more premium options available. Some popular broths on the market are Bare Bones Broth and Ancient Nutrition Bone Broth.
