About Fatworks Foods
Fatworks Foods produces the finest premium traditional fats (tallow, lard and duck fat) and specialize in producing these products.

Another key mission of the company is to educate the mainstream population about the benefits of using real cooking oils like tallow, lard and duck fat. Many people have developed a misunderstanding that all fat is bad and unhealthy for our diets. But in reality, there is more recent research that shows that some types of fat are essential to a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Ingredients:

Mainstream media have contributed to people's misconceptions about fat, making many people believe that all fats are bad. But the reality is that many of the vegetable oils can do harm including contributing to inflammation and can increase the risk of several diseases including heart disease and obesity, and diabetes.

It is much healthier and more natural to cook with traditional fats like lard or any fat from an animal that has not been injected with hormones or antibiotics. It wasn't fat itself that made people gain weight, it is oxidation that is the problem and vegetable oil is oxidized the most.

There is an increasing amount of research and more people who are realizing the benefits of cooking with grassfed tallow, pasture-raised lard and pasture-raised duck fat.

The animals that contribute to Fatworks products are treated humanely, free of hormones and antibiotic free, and pasture-raised.

Online Customer Reviews/Complaints:

The Beef Tallow (Grass-Fed, Kettle Rendered and Fine Filtered) has very high ratings from customers on Amazon. Customers mention that the product is good for their skin, especially as a face moisturizer. And when they cook with it, it has a great flavor.  There are some people that didn't like the flavor of the beef tallow.

Online bloggers give great reviews for the products for the high quality and taste. Several of them commented that making fats like lard is very time-consuming so being able to purchase Fatworks makes it easy to get quality fats.

Competitors and Alternatives:

There are a few companies that sell different types of fat such as Rougie Duck Fat,  Proper Foods for Life, and Eko Mutton Tallow.  Other healthy cooking fats include Ghee and Coconut Oil.

Wonderful Fat Products

I love this lard, chicken schmaltz and beef tallow. The glass packaging is easier to use than getting a big lump of lard that you have to break down and package yourself. The company was extremely good to me on a recent Leap Year sale. They thought they took too long for shipping so they shipped Priority Mail instead of standard and included 2 jars of beef tallow which I hadn't ordered. They have good business practices. I will order from them again.
