Caveman Coffee, founded by Tait Fletcher, Keith Jardine and Lacie Mackey, is a premier Paleo coffee provider.  They focus on developing the highest quality roasts that also offer a plethora of nutritional benefits.

 

The founders believe in the Paleo lifestyle and encourage their customers to follow their recipe that incorporates healthy fats into coffee.  You can still enjoy Caveman Coffee in the traditional style but you should take the time to research the benefits of blending MCT oil and butter from grass fed cows into your coffee.

Caveman Coffee is a small batch Single Origin/Single Estate Coffee.  The operation is run by one family that grows and process the beans in Columbia and roasts them in New Mexico.

 

The roaster is a member of the Specialty Coffee Association, something that only 10% of the worlds coffees can claim.  They also have Rainforest Alliance and UTZ Certification for their sustainable farming practices.

 

Currently they offer two blends...

 

White Gold - Which is described as having a light, creamy and nutty flavor due to the special roasting process which takes care to preserve the oils and only extract water.  This roast is created to blend exceptionally well with high quality fats.

 

Black Diamond - This is Caveman Coffee’s dark roast and is bold with a full body and low acidity.  It combines the flavor of traditional dark coffee with the unique nutty and woody flavors of the white roast.

 

There are a variety of recipes on their website to accompany both roasts.  They also offer a cold brew concentrate, MCT oil, select Paleo snacks, and coffee accessories.

There are not that many customer reviews online but caveman coffee does have the support of paleo/fitness bloggers and big names like Joe Rogan and Dr. Drew.  They also have lots of positive feedback from their customers via social media sites like Facebook.

The popularity of “butter coffee” is only growing and there are many companies trying to create their own blends.  However the most important aspect is still having a strong base of superior coffee.  Some other providers include the original Bulletproof coffee and newcomers Coffee Blocks who have come up with an instant version of butter coffee.
